On April 10 and 11, 2019, the Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) 2019 exhibition and conference for plastics processing professionals was held in Amsterdam, which brought together key players in the plastics processing sector. The organizers are Crain Communications in conjunction with Plastics News Europe, the partner is Plastics Recyclers Europe Association (PRE), which represents 80% of European processing facilities and has more than 115 members throughout the EU. The objective of the event, based on the new EU framework waste directive, is to raise awareness of this issue in Europe. The exhibition was attended by over 120 companies and organizations from all over Europe, who presented new methods of plastics processing, technologies for improving the processing processes and demonstrated the latest innovations and new applications of recycled plastics.
The PRSE 2019 conference was opened by Kęstutis Sadauskas, Director of Circular Economy & Green Growth DG Environment of the European Commission. This informative and innovative summit addressed many of the challenges and opportunities facing the plastics processing industry in Europe. Among the speakers were presentations of well-known companies: Borealis, Dow Europe GmbH, Mondi, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, HP Inc, IKEA Group.
TECHNOCOM took part in the PRSE 2019 event, met with recycling companies and compounds, received information about new products, equipment and services, and also got acquainted with the waste disposal system in European countries.
